Compassion is a way to be considerate in our practices of life. Compassion is a way for me to enjoy the time I spend with others, seeing the beauty and mystery that is held within each unique individual, letting go of a rigid set of rules of how to proceed in the many circumstances of life. Through compassion I can find rest and ease with who I am rather than anxiety and worry about goals that I might not have fulfill for the day. If those goals are important, they will come around again and again till they are through. I can continue to be grateful about life because I am gentle and easy going when it comes to how circumstances unfold and how they make me feel and sometimes react. The journey is full of wonder and beauty if we do not attach to negative emotions. We are all doing the best we can with what we are given moment to moment. I can practice honesty in a sustainable way. Mixing honesty with compassion, I can not only practice for the excellence of truth, but I can sustain practice with understanding and flexibility, welcoming care for my own needs as well as the needs of others into the greater flow of what it means to come to a point of success.
Gratitude Practice
Do your best to continue being productive and positively energetic, working toward whatever goal is important for you at any given moment, while being compassionate for the needs of your body, mind, soul, and those around you. Feel OK with taking a little extra time to be kind and considerate even when you are in a rush to meet these needs. Life is a marathon and not a sprint, relax and do your best to enjoy the ride. Celebrate gratitude in your life by living in a health sustainable way! :-)
Thank you so much for being here today, for practicing with me! May we all move to greater health and happiness in our own lives through compassionate gratitude in how we care for ourselves and others throughout our days! God Bless you and Namaste! From Aaron :-)
